The story of Poto Pata
Poto Pata began with a simple but stubborn thought:
“Why doesn’t my dog have a bowl that feels like him?”
Hi! I’m Aria, and I started PotoPata because of my dog, Momo.
He’s 11 now, and for his whole life, he’s never had a bowl that actually represented him.
Everything out there felt generic.
I’ve always loved creating things with my hands — I ran a tufting studio before, and in university I spent countless hours in the ceramics studio.
So I thought, why not make Momo a bowl that felt personal, safe, and made with care?
It wasn’t easy.
I tested materials, glazes, and styles, and learned that most bowls on the market weren’t even pet safe.
Six months later, after dozens of damaged bowls, I finally found a way to engrave stainless steel and safely print on human-grade ceramic.
Now, every Poto Pata bowl is safe, durable, and fully customizable — because I believe pets deserve something as one-of-a-kind as they are.
